My family and I went to #beyondvangogh art exhibit today, and it was incredible! Last night my son said, “I don’t like art, but I’ll go.” This immersive experience completely changed his mind.
He bought a sketchbook and a sweatshirt with “The Starry Night” on it from the gift shop afterward.

My daughter has always loved Vincent Van Gogh’s art, but she didn’t know all of his history, and she learned a lot more about that today. One thing she didn’t know is that he painted “The Starry Night” from the view out the window while he was in an asylum after the ear incident.

My husband loved how the projections of the artwork were always moving, swirling, and rippling. Even the portraits blinked. It was mesmerizing!

And I just loved every moment. I knew Vincent Van Gogh was an Impressionist, but I didn’t realize until today that he was also influenced by Pointillism, and I saw that abundantly once I looked for it. Wonderful experience!
